Alex is a pro. This was our first time buying a home and he hung in with us for nearly two years without ever pressuring us and gave us the space to find the perfect first buy. At the end of the search, we did not settle for anything but perfection and now are living in a home we love that appraised well above the purchase price at a rock bottom 30-yr fixed interest rate. We couldn't have scored in a bigger way and couldn't have done it without Alex. A real estate "consultant" is a better term for the service, expertise, and guidance he brings to the job. He also is one of the hardest working people I have ever partnered with. As a physician who spends my life in trauma and cardiac surgery operating rooms, I see extreme work ethics daily. Alex outpaced me. That's hard to do. It is obvious that he loves what he does, he is good at it, and that he can close a deal. What is unique about his approach is that he maintains a degree of decency, humility, optimism, and understanding that is hard to find in a pretty cut-throat real estate game. Some people get it. Some people don't. Alex is a natural. He gets it.

Alex Pfleger just sold our home for top dollar! But aside from that wonderful news, let me explain just some of the things that made Alex such a fantastic agent. Alex answered my phone call immediately and worked with our unusual situation; adult children and grandchildren living in our San Diego home and we live in Hawaii. So there was an always present time zone issue in our communications and Alex answered calls far into the evening so we could talk after I got off work. Alex didn't start pressuring us to sign a listing agreement; instead he came over to the house we were selling in San Diego and began to offer us suggestions on how to stage it; little things that we had not considered. In the end, all of those suggestions made a huge difference in how well the house showed. After our kids moved out of the San Diego house, Alex went over and spent hours cleaning the house. We still had a deep clean done by a professional, but he did the initial clean on it, voluntarily at no charge. Alex pre-listed the house on Zillow to gauge interest at our asking price and we adjusted it just a bit downward when it actually hit the market officially. It was only on the market a couple of days and we had multiple offers. This was a situation where we could have lost a lot of money on that sale because we hadn't owned the house for even two years. We had spent 2 years improving the house and putting in many upgrades. In the end, Alex got us the best deal we could have imagined on the house, providing us with peace of mind that we weren't going to lose our shorts on that house!! Skillful negotiator! The buyers gained from our loss, but Alex kept our losses to a minimum and far exceeded our expectations. Alex kept me calm and told me repeatedly to "Let me do the worrying. I will take care of everything" and he was right. When the staging items left the house, Alex went back over and cleaned the house again for the new tenants. He handled everything from staging ideas to the congratulatory email that our house was sold. Alex has a beautiful family and is dedicated to his community, his job, his customers and his wife and children. It is so refreshing to deal with someone who cares about so much more than just making a dollar. He cares about everyone involved and is fair. He is honest and a pleasure to work with. By far, the easiest transaction I have had in selling a home and we would be happy to have Alex take care of all of our real estate transactions!

As a young first-time home buyer I was extremely lucky to have Alexander Pfleger as my real estate agent. Being in the military and having a rigorous schedule of being at sea and deployed it was difficult to get through the home buying process from start to finish. Alexander was extremely patient and spent a lot of time educating me on the market and built me customized searches that matched properties to my preferences in the locations that I wanted. Whenever I had questions about a particular property he was able to provide me detailed subtle information with respect to the area and the condominium complex that was being considered. He would get this information to me by phone or email usually in less than 12 hours. He was always very easy to get a hold of on the phone and would regularly reach out to me to keep me updated. When I finally did find a property I loved he worked late into the night on a Saturday to draw up all the offer paperwork. His efforts resulted in me securing the condo in a highly desirable location at a stellar price with a VA loan (0 money down) and I won out against another offer in a ridiculously difficult market for buyers. Once escrow was open Alexander kept me updated on a daily basis. He was continually communicating with my loan officer, home inspector, and other parties driving the process. He walked around my condo with me several times pointing out potential issues and sharing past experiences where he learned lessons in past transactions. He was able to establish a $1200 credit in escrow so that I could repair minor deficiencies in the condo and still closed two days early. I don't have much experience working with realtors or buying property but it is very difficult to imagine an agent that works harder than Alexander for his clients. I definitely look forward to working with him in the future on other San Diego real estate transactions!

Alexander the Great! That’s what we call him around our house. Everything about Alexander is great from his personality, to his ability to negotiate and write realistic offers. Alexander was our 3rd realtor, and thankfully the last. Our previous realtors weren’t knowledgeable or responsive enough to get us into a home in this competitive market. Alexander was able to educate us on the current market and the areas of San Diego that would offer the size home we needed within our price range. All of the information he provided helped us to focus in on an area and make smart decisions. He was able to get us into homes our previous realtor said were inaccessible to us. Alexander took us to see houses on our schedule, and frequently got us into homes on day 1, which is really important in this competitive market! He explored many options for us and would send us individual listings of homes he thought we might consider in addition to sending the typical listings from an area or several areas. When we found the house we bought, he talked the listing agent into submitting our offer as soon as we made it instead of waiting for other offers. This was after losing out on several homes because the realtors were waiting for other offers and would get multiple cash offers. We couldn’t compete with that. Alexander wrote a very professional offer, which our mortgage broker praised him for when we went into our first loan meeting. He is a magician! There were many issues with the home we bought, which we found out from our inspection, but Alexander also did a very comprehensive walk through of the home. He pointed out issues we wouldn’t have noticed that didn’t show up on the inspection report. He got the buyers to fix a lot of the issues before we moved in, which was key since we are about to have a baby! We were just so pleased with his performance! This is one realtor that truly cares about the client!

We purchased our dream condo at La Jolla early this year. I have been living in this place for three months, and whenever I think about how much I love this place, I become more and more appreciative of Alexander’s effort in helping me. Alexander is very patient, honest, caring and responsive. He is not only my agent but my trusted friend. Alexander has always been happy to take me to see any property I was interested in. He is a very considerate person, and he always thinks from my position regarding which property fits my needs best. The process of searching was extremely fun and efficient. During the viewing and decision process, he checked every detail, did extensive research and gave me his honest opinions and never put pressure on me. Alexander is so awesome! We never have any closing costs and the lender he uses has a very user friendly app that you can pull anything up in a second. Last week I was doing our taxes and called Alexander in a panic and he sent over what we needed right away! Come to find out it was all at my fingertips anyway through the app from tax statement, closing statements, escrow etc. We just refinanced our home again last year and he still checks in with us all the time to see how the family is doing and to say hi.
