There are many options when looking for something to do in Downtown San Diego including seeing a play at the San Diego Civic Center. My wife and I really enjoyed "Once" as we had seen the movie and was very impressed with the soundtrack. We had dinner at one of our favorite spots, Sushi Deli 2 on Broadway, then walked over to the Civic Center where they had a bar with wine, drinks, and coffee to enjoy before the play.
