My wife and I attended a Gala fundraiser at the House of Blues in San Diego for our oldest son's school. We received a cooking class for 4 after bidding in the silent auction. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was terrific, and the owner, Freddi Pakier, did a great job explaining all of the health benefits of certain foods. The wild salmon, cooked veggies, fresh salad, and cookies were not only healthy but tasted great. If you are looking for something different to do with a friend, significant other, or a family member check this out. She has a schedule of classes discussing detoxification, healing fatigue, preventing diabetes, preparing quick and easy meals and snacks, a cleanse, and even a chocolate class. Freddie is very friendly, answered all of our questions, and kindly donates to many different groups and organizations holding fundraisers. She provided a variety of teas, a notebook, and had food she recommended on hand for purchasing. We really enjoyed taking our friends and clients to this educational cooking class and highly recommend trying it out. The prices for the class are reasonable and if you are lucky you may get in on a promotion or a donation. Visit www.FreddiPakier.com for more information and a class schedule.
